Kindred is built to support both the people receiving care and the caregiver providing it — so that care can remain steady, grounded, and long-term.
Standard Rate
$45 per hour
2-hour minimum per visit
This allows time for care to unfold gently without rushing, and supports meaningful, presence-based support rather than task-only visits.

Kindred is a small, values-driven business, and this rate helps cover the full scope of care work — much of which happens beyond the visible hours in a home.
Your rate supports:
- Time spent providing in-home support with full presence and attention
- Preparation before visits and reflection after visits
- Transportation time and fuel
- Supplies used during care
- Insurance and licensing costs
- Business tools, scheduling systems, and communication platforms
- Continuing education and training
- Taxes and required self-employment expenses
- The ability to provide consistent, dependable care

Sliding Scale & Accessibility
A limited number of sliding-scale spaces are available for individuals or families experiencing temporary financial hardship.
Sliding scale support is:
- Offered thoughtfully and respectfully
- Based on open conversation, not proof or paperwork
- Intended for short-term support during difficult seasons
